my little diva

it is as clear as the day is long, that hadley is a girly girl... and now with 3 brothers, she is sure taking her role as the house princess very seriously.

she loves to dress up, and wants to wear "pretty clothes", and always has an idea of what she wants in her hair. she is so funny!

last week our friends came to visit and gave each kid a gift bag for becoming a big brother/sister. hadley's had a princess purse in it, with some ariel lip gloss. you would have thought she was 13 and had been begging us to wear makeup. she was obsessed with it. for 2 days she did nothing other than apply it over and over again. finally i had to take it away... it tasted like berries so she just kept licking her lips.




a couple of weeks ago i had my hairdresser trim hadley's hair... well, she really didn't take enough off, and i just have no idea what to do with long hair. i prefer shorter hair, so until she tells me otherwise, i will be keeping her hair above her shoulders.

we went to snip-its, and everything was going great. the hairdresser really did a great job, and at the end we were chatting and i didn't realize that she was "styling" hadley's hair. good lord... not only did the pony and bow look silly, she then asked if she likes things that sparkle. well, of course she does... i figured she was asking b/c of hadley's twinkle toes that she was wearing. next thing you know glitter hair spray all over.... i almost just laughed out loud. my poor little girl, looked like she was going to some white trash party. these pictures just don't do it justice... trust me when i say it was bad!!!
