it's beginning to look a lot like christmas...

our tree is up... although if it were up to me, we would have a small table top tree from llbean. it was hard finding a place that would work this year. we have baby stuff everywhere, and i wasn't sure how well hadley would do. so far, she hasn't bothered it too much. there are a couple of ornaments that she enjoys playing with, but other than that, nothing destructive. so for the first time, the tree is tucked away in the dining room...



the stockings are hung, and we have graham's right up there too... my friend ilana ordered it for me, along with an ornament.



and on dec. 1st "Lucky" our elf on the shelf arrived... he has been visiting our family since 2007. carter named him lucky after i told him that not every family received an elf from santa. if you don't know about the elf on the shelf, you should google it... this year lucky brought with him the lego advent calendar. man, i wish i got two... but the boys are so excited to share it, and carter gets to open the odd days, and mason the even.
