my big girl

hadley is my chunky monkey - no surprise since both her brothers were big too. yesterday when i had my 6 week pp check-up my doctor, the nurse, and nurse practitioner all made comments on how big she is. i guess i didn't really notice, but since they see 6 week old babies all the time, they must know what they are talking about. i love her and all her rolls and even her double chin. i was very excited for her 1 month appointment today to get the stats.

weight - 11lbs 6 oz. (85th %)
height - 22 1/4" (70th %)

she is doing great! she is still sleeping like a champ. i am trying to put her down a little earlier now (and hoping i go to bed earlier too). last night she went into her bassinet at 10:30 and slept until 6:15 this morning. not too shabby! last night was also the first night i didn't swaddle her. she looked for her binky a little more, but i just had to pop it back in and she was fine.

i really feel so lucky. yesterday we went to visit craig at work and a few of his co-workers had babies w/in the last 4 months. i don't think their babies are sleeping so well yet. i can't imagine how hard that would be, and then be up and ready to go to work in the morning.

i was thankful we had her appointment today, b/c mason woke up complaining his ear hurt. our doctor looked in his ear, and sure enough it is infected. this is his 2nd infection since his ear tubes came out in the fall. i am really hoping he doesn't need another set of tubes.
